Hopper Bridging & Flow Problems
A stable arch at an outlet is a hopper-flow problem. Geometry, wall friction and powder strength matter. Hopper design or dedicated flow aids may be needed; a bag conditioner is not a general hopper remedy.

What to assess first
Record where the restriction occurs, the form of the material, packaging condition and the desired state at the next process step. Include a material sample or photograph and the storage history.
Equipment and supporting processes
Specialist hopper flow assessment or a dedicated flow-aid design may be required. External bag conditioning does not address this mechanism by itself.
Acceptance criteria
Agree the acceptable discharge condition, product quality and safety requirements before equipment trials. A visible reduction in lumps alone is not a complete process acceptance test.
