Twin-Shaft Lump Breaking Equipment

Mechanical lump reduction

Twin-Shaft Lump Breaking Equipment

Evaluate twin-shaft equipment for exposed lumps before conveying or further processing.

A distinct process step

A lump breaker acts on material after it enters the equipment. It is not an external bag conditioner and should not be assumed to deliver fine grinding or a specified particle distribution.

Selection inputs

Define maximum incoming lump size, lump strength, particle damage tolerance, feed consistency and the downstream opening size. A trial using representative material is more useful than selecting on motor power alone.

Process integration

Check inlet control, foreign object management, outlet clearance, dust containment and safe access for maintenance. Abrasive or reactive materials need a separate engineering review.

Define your technical specification

A build-specific specification is prepared from your material and site requirements. Send bag dimensions and weight, required throughput, utilities, control interfaces and acceptance criteria.

Useful details for selection

Include packaging photos, material history and a simple process sketch. An initial discussion helps define what should be tested before a configuration is specified.
